One partnership that D'Youville has is with CAPA, which offers us study abroad opportunities to the various countries.
CAPA does a great job at bringing people from all across the nation. I met students from a couple of states over that I would have literally never met in my life. I just took courses, but then my other friends that studied abroad with me from other schools, they actually had internships. So no matter what, they're able to give everybody a great experience tailored to you.
You can do service trips while on study abroad. You go to London, England, Sydney, Australia, Italy, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Beijing, China. Those are a few of the ones I know.
I would recommend studying abroad to a friend because if you're going to pay a semester's tuition at school, why not do it abroad. I mean what could possibly be better than going to another country to get the same studies and taking on different cultural experiences that you wouldn't otherwise have, to meet up with other people to actually put in place what you learned in your school institution and to take it out in the world. That's what it's all about.
